The City of Stanton is partnering with the Savanna School District and Cal State University Fullerton (CSUF) to inspire 3rd and 4th grade students to express themselves through the creation of art with the “Walls that Unite” project, scheduled for Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at Stanton Central Park, 10660 Western Ave. With the guidance and supervision of CSUF students, children will create paintings that when pieced together will become a canvas mural that focuses on community building.
The completed mural will be presented to the community in conjunction with Kids to Parks Day on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Stanton Central Park. Participation is limited to 50 students from the Savana School District. Prior registration is required. Applications can obtained at the school office.
