The Personnel program contributes to the City's organizational vision by providing a personnel system which ensures the selection of qualified individuals for City employment; equal opportunity for candidates for position in the City's service, and legal adherence to federal, state and local employment laws and guidelines. This department administers the employee compensation, benefits, and training programs that serve to attract and keep high caliber employees in the City service.
Personnel staff conducts recruitment and selection of candidates for positions in City service; administers the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations, and related policies; administers the City's employee benefit program including health, dental, retirement and life insurance; and coordinates various employee training and recognition programs.

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCEDURE: Applications may be obtained at Stanton City Hall, 7800 Katella Avenue, Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., or on the City’s website. A city application must be completed. Faxes and e-mails will not be accepted. Resumes may be submitted with city application, but will not be accepted in lieu of a completed city application.
