This month the City of Stanton is “Celebrating Seniors” by highlighting the activities and programs offered to senior adults at the Stanton Senior Center located at 7800 Katella Avenue.
Through grant funding and partnerships with various organizations, the center is proud to offer free exercise classes that support senior physical and spiritual health.
The City of Stanton would like to request everyone to be safe and considerate of each other. Please use only safe and sane fireworks, and do not participate in the lighting of illegal fireworks.
City Council recently adopted new illegal fireworks fines ranging from $1,000 to $80,000 for each violation.
From Tuesday, June 6th through Friday, June 9th the City of Stanton will be restriping Cerritos Avenue from Knott to Western. There may be slight delays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The project will adjust lane widths to create parking along the south side of Cerritos Avenue.

The City of Stanton invites residents to join Senator Josh Newman and Stanton Mayor Carol Warren for a Community Coffee on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9-11 a.m. at Stanton City Hall, 7800 Katella Avenue.
The City of Stanton is helping save the environment one charge at a time with the recent installation of Charge Point electric vehicle stations at City Hall. Stations will provide residents and fleet vehicles with a cleaner energy supply and promote the reduction in fuel emissions within our environment.
Exciting new development is occurring along our Beach Blvd. corridor. We currently have two properties under development: a new Del Taco at the corner of Beach Blvd. and Cerritos Ave., and a medical office building on Beach Blvd., just north of the CVS on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Lampson Ave.
The grand opening celebration of the Stanton Farmers Market was a tremendous success with approximately 400 people gathering at Stanton Central Park to participate in the market’s inauguration.
